1. How old do I have to be to ride a snowmobile?

Answer: You must be at least 18 years of age to drive a snowmobile. A valid drivers license is required. To ride with an adult, minor child must be able to easily support the weight of a helmet.

3. What if I have never been on a snowmobile before and I am unsure as to what to do?

Answer: All rentals come with a safety and instructional tutorial. A practice area is available in order for folks who are new to snowmobiling the opportunity to practice before hitting the trails.

4. How do I know where to go?

Answer: Crystal Adventures staff will provide you with a snowmobile map and directive as to the various trail options that you can pursue on your own. Additionally, tours are available for anyone who would rather have a guide.

5. Do I need to make a reservation?

Answer: Yes, please call (231) 378-2831 to ensure availability, reserve your snowmobile, and ascertain a time for riding.

7. How should I dress?

Answer: It is important to wear warm clothing when riding. Snowpants & Coat, Boots, Gloves, & Helmets. We have Helmets for rent for those of you who may need one.

8. Do you have Double Rider Snowmobiles?

Answer: Yes— we do have Snowmobiles that can accommodate more than one rider at a time.
